BMW M5 collection for sale at CCA June auction
A BMW M5 collection featuring almost every era of the BMW M5 is for sale at Classic Car Auctions’ (CCA) June Sale on Saturday June 6th.
The iconic BMW M5 super saloon celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2015 and this BMW M5 collection for sale is sure to both delight and painfully tempt all BMW enthusiasts.
The current vendor, a self-declared BMW fan, started the collection around four years ago. Buying classics he could enjoy and use on a daily basis, as well as providing a great potential for future investment.
1987 BMW E28 M5 for sale
The earliest model of the series to go under the hammer is this 1987 BMW E28 M5 saloon. One of the rarest of the modern-generation BMWs, it is the ultimate road warrior, with 176,000 miles on the clock this car is testament to the durability and longevity of these 1980s BMW sports saloons. This landmark classic has been well cared for and is supplied with a fresh MoT certificate.
Featured in EVO magazine in 2013, where it was fittingly described as an “iconic slice of history“, it is offered in the June Sale starting at a terribly tempting, no reserve.

2010 BMW E60 M5 for sale at CCA
Another highlight from the BMW M5 collection is this ultra-rare 25th anniversary 2010 BMW E60 M5. This car is number seven of just 25 manufactured and has covered a mere 29,000 miles. With Frozen Silver Metallic paintwork with contrasting black leather interior and beautiful piano black wood trim.
E60 M5 packs a 5.0 litre V10 engine, one of the great engines of the 21st century and something of a dying breed, as motoring enters more fuel-conscious times. Producing 500bhp, sufficient power to propel 1800kg of M5 from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and on to a (de-restricted) top speed of over 200mph. Seriously fast. The E60 M5 is estimated at between £25,000 and £28,000.
1991 E34 M5 and 2000 E39 M5
The E34 M5 and E39 M5 going under the hammer at CCA are arguably among the most tempting.
Following a £5000 body restoration in August 2014, the 1991 BMW E34 M5 3.6 Saloon is presented in metallic Macao Blue with grey leather interior. An original UK supplied right hand drive car, this M5 3.6 is supplied with a fresh UK MoT and is also offered with no reserve.
Which brings us to the 2000 BMW E39 M5, finished in Imola red with black leather interior. Recently restored, these 400bhp E39 M5’s were super car quick in their day and offer tremendous value right not. This car will also be offered with no reserve.
