The Footman James Sywell Classic 2015 – Pistons and Props motoring festival, returns to Northamptonshire’s Sywell Aerodrome on Sat 26th and Sun 27th September
Now in its third year, Sywell Classic 2015 combines the very best of classic cars, historic racers, hot rods and motorbikes with classic planes and vintage music to create a fantastic two-day event, celebrating classic motoring on the ground and in the air. This years event promises to be the best yet!
Sywell Classic 2015 – What’s on?
The transformed ‘Racing Runway’ and ‘Sprint Strip’ welcomes iconic Formula 1 cars, Group B Rally cars, Hot Rods and Dragsters in action throughout the weekend as well as more motorcycle displays from traditional British classics to more modern power-flexing superbikes.
Up in the skies; expect to see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) with a Hurricane, Lancaster and Spitfire flying overhead. The breathtaking ladies of the Breitling Wingwalkers return as do the very popular World War 1 Dogfight display team. Both will be performing on the Saturday and Sunday.
For music lovers, swing jive band The One Eyed Cats makes its Sywell debut with performances throughout the weekend, while Saturday night sees The New Dreamers featuring former Bay City Roller, Tommy Cunningham, get the party started.
Tickets Prices and Admission
Tickets for Sywell Classic 2015 start from £18 in advance for adults, £7 for children aged between 5-15 with children under 5 years-old going free. Family tickets are also available and Car parking is free.
Camping packages are available for those that want to make a weekend of it and includes show days and live evening entertainment. Plus there is a new weekend entrance ticket that covers both days and includes the Saturday evening entertainment.
The show is open from 10am until 5.30pm on Saturday, 10am until 5pm on Sunday.
