National Austin 7 rally 2015
05/07/2015 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
The National Austin 7 rally 2015 will be held on Sunday 5th July at Beaulieu in Hampshire, the theme ‘Austin 7s and their Cousins’.
The Austin 7 motor car is one of the most enduring and endearing of all pre-war British cars. Between 1922 and 1939 some 290,000 were built and more than 8,000 survive worldwide today.
While the car is one of the most easily recognised and well-known of pre-war cars it is a less well known fact that it played a military role in World War Two – on both the British and German sides. In keeping with the Austin 7s and their cousins theme, many examples of Dixi, Bantam and the French Austin 7 version, the Rosengart, are likely to join the hundreds of civilian Austin 7s on show.
