The Medway Festival of Steam and Transport 2014 returns to the Dockyard with the spectacular sights, sounds and smell of steam, as traction engines and Dockyard locomotives rumble by.

Displays of hundreds of classic and vintage vehicles dating from 1901 up to 1989! Take a trip down memory lane as you remember the first car you ever drove, or family cars you remember taking trips in.

NEW CATEGORY FOR 2014 – Hot Rod, Drag Racers, American Saloon and Trucks – these vehicles will be based around one of our big music stages – grab a burger and chips and enjoy that 1960’s diner experience!

See the Steam Traction Engine Parade in the afternoon and Locomotives drive up the Dockyard tracks throughout the day.
