This huge show is once again held at the NEC in Birmingham, this year from 14th to 16th November 2014.
What’s on at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show 2014?
With over 1,700 classic cars, 300 motorcycles, 600 trade stands, 250 of the UK’s best classic motoring clubs and the biggest indoor Autojumble, all under one roof. Showcasing everything from rare and exciting marques ranging from pre-war through to retro classics, American muscle cars to Japanese performance, European elegance to Great British sports cars and many more. This year sees displays from three major manufacturers Porsche, Vauxhall and Jaguar, as well as Rover and Maserati celebrations, and displays representing the biggest names in classic motoring.
Other Classic Motor Show Highlights
The centrepiece of the car displays is the Meguiar’s Club Showcase, which brings together the best concours cars from the club events throughout the year before crowning a winner as Car of the Year.
Other features include the Wheeler Dealer Live Stage hosted by the TV motoring show’s presenters Mike Brewer and Edd China with restoration challenges, special guests and exclusive competitions.
The impressive Restoration Theatre has a team of experts ready to show visitors exactly how to tackle all aspects of restoring a cherished classic car.
Silverstone Auctions returns with it’s two-day sale of classic cars, motorcycles and memorabilia. Viewing will take place Friday and Saturday morning before the sale starts each afternoon.
As well as the impressive car displays, visitors can also enjoy the Classic Motorbike Show featuring special guests, stunning bike club displays, a Pride of Ownership concours and a Vintage Wall of Death.
Across both events, over 600 trade stands sell a wide range of parts, spares, tools, motoring services and memorabilia while the popular Autojumble and Bikejumble are havens for mechanics looking for that elusive motoring component.
