We hope you enjoy the pictures in Carphile’s AC Aceca gallery.
The AC Aceca was revealed at the 1954 Earls Court Motor show in London. A coupe version of the John Tojeiro-designed AC Ace sports car.
This AC Aceca Prototype is completely unique and although visually very similar to the standard car, delve deeper and you discover the car differs in many respects. More Evolution model than traditional prototype, as it was built in 1959, 5 years after the original Aceca was launched at the Earls court motor show. Known by AC Cars aficionados as “Mr Charles’ Car” due to it being used, almost exclusively, by AC’s then owner Charles Hurlock.
