The Peel P50 bubble car was originally launched in 1962. Made by the Peel Engineering Company on the Isle of Man until 1965.
The original cars were made in tiny numbers (it’s believed that only 50 were made) and now fetch top prices at auction. In 2011 production of Peel cars re-started when two car enthusiasts obtained the rights and the car is once again being manufactured in the UK by Peel Engineering.
The Dragon Red P50 car in our pictures is the first electric Peel P50 in the world and since the first car was made in 1962.
