It wears the unique Harrods colours and is only one of six McLaren F1 GTRs built. \n1926 Vauxhall 30-98 Velox \nThe 1955 Mercedes Gullwing competed in the legendary Mille Miglia driven by Italian Gentleman Driver Agberico Cacciari and the Vauxhall 30-98 Velox (today\, one of just 20 cars in the world) has been kept in impeccable condition.  When new the car’s polished alloy bodywork was special order and the car is one of the best specification examples\, with a counterbalanced crank\, surviving today. \nOther cars featuring in the Heveningham Hall Concours d’Elegance line up include a Ferrari 250 GTO\, Ferrari 250 GT SWB and a Jaguar D Type.  More cars and special guests will be announced in the run up to the event. \n  \nTickets and admission\nThe Concours\, takes place as part of the annual Heveningham Hall Country Fair in the 5\,000-acre estate’s Capability Brown parkland. \nThe annual Heveningham Hall Country Fair hosts around 15\,000 visitors each year.  The event distributes all proceeds to local communities for village and school projects\, church repairs\, and individual cases of need\, such as Halesworth Community Nursing Care Fund. \nFor more information and to find out how to order tickets please visit the organiser website

SUMMARY:National Austin 7 Rally 2016
DESCRIPTION:The National Austin 7 Rally 2016 will be held on Sunday 3rd July in the grounds of the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.\nThe National Austin 7 Rally has been held annually at Beaulieu for 53 years and is organised by the 750 Motor Club. \nThe event is open to all Austin 7 owners regardless of whether or not they are 750 club members.  Entries come from all over the UK and Europe. \nAustins form the core of the event\, but pre-1975 vehicles of all makes are invited to attend and will have a designated parking area on the rally field. \n  \nNational Austin 7 Rally 2016 – What’s on?\nThe theme for 2016 will be ‘Austin 7 Sports & Racers’. \nThe Austin 7 is one of the most recognisable and well-known of pre-war cars. Generations grew up owning and driving the little ‘Motor for the Millions’.  Austin themselves produced sports versions of the 7 and in the 1920s and 30s had a Works team of racers that scored notable victories in handicap races against far larger and more powerful cars. \nBy the 1950s and 60s enterprising individuals and firms were using Austin 7s as the basis for racing cars and sports specials.  It was popular for Austin 7 enthusiasts to take a tatty old Austin 7\, throw away the saloon body\, and fix in its place a sleek fibreglass sports car body\, often styled to evoke the design of racing cars at that time (see the Hamblin above). \nOne of the main highlights of the National Austin 7 Rally 2016 will be a special display of some rare and interesting examples.  These will be joined by a huge variety of other Austin 7 models and a great selection of trade stands catering for everything Austin 7 owners and enthusiasts could need. \n  \nTickets and admission\nGates will open at 9am on Sunday 3rd July. \nThe National Austin 7 Rally is an ideal day out for enthusiasts and for families alike.  The National Austin 7 rally entry ticket also gives access to the wide variety of Beaulieu attractions including the historic Palace House\, gardens and The National Motor Museum. \nFor entrants wishing to make a weekend of it camping facilities are available and on the Saturday there is an organized run through the New Forest followed by the very popular evening barbecue. \nFull details and entry forms will be found on the 750 Motor Club website from early March. \n  \nPlease bookmark this page so carphile.co.uk can keep you updated with all that is happening at National Austin 7 Rally 2016\n
