DESCRIPTION:Tickets are now on sale for the Donington Historic Festival 2015\nPrices for this hugely popular\, relaxed and family-friendly remain at 2014 levels\, while several new attractions have been added for 2015\, making Donington Park a favourite for the Bank Holiday weekend. \nDonington Historic Festival 2015 – What’s on?\nOver 3 days of Donington Historic Festival you will find Super Touring Car Trophy\, Le Mans prototypes\, single-seater racing cars\, GT cars\, sportscars and Touring Cars.  Offering a packed programme of world-class racing\, featuring grids made up of racing cars from the 1930s to the 1990s. \nOther new attractions include displays and demonstrations from historic Formula 1 and Grand Prix cars\, plus Supercars across the decades.  Whether you’re a fan of pre-War sports cars\, have a thing for 1960s Aston Martins or want to get close to a 1980s Lamborghini\, there’s something for all car enthusiasts. \nAway from the main track\, the ever-popular historic rally cars will once more burn rubber\, with the mighty Group B machines and iconic rally cars of the Historic Rally Car Register entertaining the crowds.  Both the race car and rally car paddocks will be open to all – allowing spectators to examine and photograph the rare and fascinating machinery to their heart’s content. \nThe historic karts will also return to Donington Park for the event\, as will the infield displays\, staged by dozens of car clubs. Spectators can also visit the Donington Grand Prix Collection\, home to the world’s largest collection of Grand Prix cars and also to the Wheatcroft Collection of historic military vehicles. \nDonington Historic Festival 2015 – Ticket prices\nAdvance tickets cost £20 for a single day ticket\, £32 for a two-day ticket and £45 for a three-day weekend ticket.  On-the-gate ticket prices are more expensive  be £25\, £40 and £60\, respectively.  Children aged under 16 are admitted for free. \nAdvance discounted tickets can be bought via the Donington historic festival website and through the 24-hour ticket hotline 0844 873 7355. \nAdvance ticket sales close at 5pm on Wednesday\, April 29th 2015. \nDonington Historic Festival 2015 – Callout to car clubs\nThe car club displays and on-track parades are a key element of the Donington Historic Festival. Special discounts are available for members of car clubs that are registered to attend. Car club organisers are invited to register their club via the car club section on the Donington historic Festival event’s website.

DESCRIPTION:Simply Ford 2015 returns on Sunday 3rd May.  Beaulieu’s hugely popular celebration of all cars and vans wearing the famous blue oval\, kicks off the popular ‘Simply’ car Rallies at the National Motor Museum this year.\nA firm favourite with car enthusiasts and blue oval fans alike\, with up to 1000 Fords of all shapes and sizes expected to attend the Simply Ford 2015 event. \nSimply Ford 2015 – What’s on?\nWhether you own a modern-day Mondeo ST\, a classic Fiesta\, an iconic Capri\, or a pre-war Model Y\, all Fords are welcome to join the display in the parklands and enjoy the day out. \nThis year\, the event celebrates 50 years of the Ford Transit\, Britain’s favourite van. From its birth in 1965\, when it raised the bar for van and light truck design\, to its current fifth generation\, the Transit has become a worldwide success.  Owners of all ages and models of Transit are welcome to come along and join the rally. \nEvents Co-ordinator Andy Ollerenshaw said: “We are proud to celebrate the anniversary of the Transit\, while show regulars Ford Heritage will be bringing along eight examples of this legendary vehicle\, from the first Transit ever built to the V8-powered ‘Supervan.’ \nFord owners clubs at Beaulieu Simply Ford rally \nAmong the number of specialist Ford clubs taking part will be the Ford Owners’ Club\, the Focus RS Owners’ Club\, the Mondeo Mk2 Owners’ Club and the Zetec S Owners’ Club\, with a variety of their members’ vehicles attending. The Hendy Ford dealership will also be displaying a selection of the manufacturer’s latest cars and vans. \nIn addition to the hundreds of Fords on display\, visitors will have the opportunity to browse numerous trade stands selling Ford-related parts and accessories. \nRally participants and Beaulieu’s attraction visitors\, also can vote for their favourite Ford of the show\, with the winner receiving the People’s Choice Award. \nSimply Ford 2015 – Tickets and admission\nFor entrants arriving on the 3rd May in their Ford and joining the event on the Beaulieu parkland\, entry prices are £10 for an adult and £5 for a child. These tickets can be purchased in advance by telephone on 01590 612888\, or online at the Beaulieu website. Alternatively they can be purchased on the day on arrival. \nEntry into the Beaulieu parkland with your Ford is from 9am\, with on-site catering offering bacon rolls and breakfast snacks. \nAll other visitors should enter Beaulieu via the main Reception at normal Beaulieu attraction admission prices. \nClub stands are still available to ensure that club members arriving at the event can park together\, but must be booked at least a week in advance.
