DESCRIPTION:The 1000 Mile Trial will take drivers on an epic classic car rally across the United Kingdom that closely follows the original route taken by daring motorists in 1900. \nOrganised by the Royal Automobile Club in partnership with the Historic Endurance Rallying Organisation (HERO). It will also be a qualifying round of the 2014 HERO Cup. This trial celebrates the original event\, first run in 1900 and runs from 12th to 19th July 2014. \nThe 1000 Mile Trial is open to cars manufactured before 1940. DESCRIPTION:‘Brooklands Supercar Saturday’\, now in its third year\, is back at Brooklands on Saturday 19 July 2014\, having gained a name for itself as a thrilling day out that doesn’t cost the earth’.\n“Supercar Saturday proved hugely popular from the very first year we ran it\, back in 2012\,” says event organiser Phil Ward of Ginger Beer Promotions. “What seems to impress visitors the most is that they can get right up close to the cars – everything from Aston Martins and McLarens\, to AC Cobras\, Porsches\, Ferraris and Lamborghinis – rather than seeing them fenced off in secure enclosures; and then they see the cars in action up the famous Brooklands Test Hill and on the adjacent Mercedes-Benz World test track. It’s rare for spectators to see supercars in action at such close quarters. Even better is the fact that we’ve kept ticket prices low\, so that anyone who loves high-performance cars can afford to bring the family along\, too.” \nWith ticket prices at just £13 for adults\, £12 for senior citizens and students\, and £6.50 for children aged 5-16 (or £34 for family admission)\, it’s possible to take the whole family without breaking the bank. There’s no need to book tickets in advance\, either – just turn up on the day and enjoy a thrilling day out. \nThe historic Brooklands Museum\,  is located in Surrey\, just inside the M25. It is not only the venue for this annual feast of supercars but also boasts aviation and motoring exhibitions\, including the Concorde Experience and London Bus Museum. \nCar clubs who wish to book free-of-charge display space\, or individual supercar owners who wish to take part\, are invited to contact the organisers. \n  \n  \n
