DESCRIPTION:The Donington Historic Festival 2014 offers world-class historic motorsport at family-friendly prices\, with advance ticket discounts making the price of entry even more friendly.\nAlthough only in its fourth year\, the Donington Historic Festival is already firmly established as a major fixture on the international historic racing calendar\, attracting many thousands of spectators\, hundreds of world-class historic racing cars and huge numbers of classic car club displays.  As well as watching such iconic machines fighting it out on track\, spectators can wander round the race paddocks\, enjoying free access and getting up close to the cars and stars. And there are always plenty of off-track attractions and live action – including legendary Group B rally cars\, autojumble and memorabilia stalls\, cafés\, bars and food outlets – and extensive club displays of classic cars from the dozens of car clubs that create a ‘living motoring museum’ right in the heart of the infield. \nAdvance tickets cost  £20 for a Saturday\, Sunday or Monday single day ticket\, £32 for a Saturday + Sunday or Sunday + Monday 2-day ticket and just £45 for a 3-day weekend ticket. On-the-gate prices will be £25 for Saturday\, Sunday or Monday single day tickets\, £40 for Saturday + Sunday or Sunday + Monday 2-day tickets and £60 for the 3-day weekend tickets. Kids aged 13 and under are admitted for free. \nAdvance discounted tickets can be bought via www.doningtonhistoric.com and through the 24-hour ticket hotline 0844 873 7355. Advance ticket sales close at 5pm on Wednesday\, April 30th2014. \nThere are also special discounts for members of car clubs that have registered with the Festival\, and car club organisers are invited to register their club via the car club section on the event’s website to allow their members to enjoy these benefits. \nWith close-fought racing every day\, historic rally car and karting action and a ‘living motoring museum’ created by dozens of car clubs displays\, plus a host of other entertainment and attractions\, exhilaration and entertainment is guaranteed on every day of the Festival. \nThe legendary John Surtees OBE will be guest of honour at the 2014 Donington Historic Festival\, which will be raising funds for the Henry Surtees Foundation  (www.henrysurteesfoundation.com) which was founded by John Surtees following the tragic death of his son Henry while competing in a Formula 2 race in 2009 when just 18 years old. \nTo learn more about the Donington Historic Festival\, or to plan your visit\, please see www.doningtonhistoric.com. \n

SUMMARY:The 17th Bedfordshire Classic Motor Show
DESCRIPTION:Set in the beautiful 3\,000 acre deer park and now in its 17th year. With over 400 classic and collectible vehicles taking part\, the Bedfordshire Classic Car Show is not to be missed. \nThere will be a number of static displays to see\, as well as a show arena hosting stunning parades. Vehicles include saloons\, sports\, American\, commercial\, military and classic motorcycles. Make sure you visit the auto-jumble to find that perfect part. Live commentary over both days with Sunday featuring car clubs in the arena and Monday sees the concours competition with our team of judges choosing from the great selection of truly splendid vehicles on show. Trade and craft stands will be open throughout the weekend and a children’s play area will provide entertainment for younger family members. \nThe Bedfordshire Classic Car show is open 10am – 5pm\, with last admission at 3pm on both Sunday and Monday. Bedfordshire Classic Car Show ticket holders will be able to receive discounted entry to Woburn Abbey and Gardens on the day of their visit. \nA truly splendid venue with something for all the family Public admission on the day is £8 Adults £4 Children (4-16) years and gates open at 10.00 am.
