DESCRIPTION:The Simply Classics and Sports Car 2016 classic car show takes place on Saturday 18th June at the Beaulieu National Motor Museum\nDescribed as one of the classic car show highlights in the the Beaulieu National Motor Museum events calendar\, Simply Classics and Sports Car 2016 is a show that celebrates the best-loved sports cars and classic cars on our roads.  An event for motoring fans but also lovers of retro and vintage style. \n  \nSimply Classics and Sports car 2016 – What’s on?\nSimply Classics & Sports Car is a show that appeals to a variety of motoring tastes and offers a great day out for all the family. \nIn terms of classic cars there will be a wide variety of pre-1990 classics\, and sport cars of all ages. \nAs with all of Beaulieu’s Simply events\, show visitors get the chance to vote for their favourite car of the show in the People’s Choice Award. The owner of the car that receives the most votes s receive a commemorative trophy and prize from Autoglym\, before leading a cavalcade of the most popular cars. \nCar clubs will once again be out in force and the Bournemouth & Poole MG Owners’ Club will once again be showing a selection of members’ cars on its club stand. \nThe Bournemouth and Poole MG Owners club cars \nIn keeping with the Classic and retro theme there is a number of period activities to help get you in the mood and transport you back to the good ol’ days. \nBows & Braces will create a Vintage Village with authentic period clothes from the 1920s to the 1980s. \nTo encourage show goers to get in the retro mood and think of their outfits\, there will be prizes for the best dressed man\, woman\, family or group. If anyone needs a little assistance\, Vintage Victory Rollers will be on hand to offer make-overs in their event salon. \nTo encourage vintage dress there will be prizes for the best dressed man\, woman\, family or group \n  \nTickets and admission\nOwners of Classics and Sports car 2016 qualifying vehicles can drive into the grounds of the National Motor Museum to park and admire the other cars on display for the great value participant ticket price of £10 an adult and £5 a child for those displaying their sports car or pre-1990 classic. \nFriends taking part in the show with multiple vehicles are asked to make sure they arrive together if they wish to park together. \nAll other visitors should enter Beaulieu through the Visitor Reception from 10am (at the normal attraction admission prices). \nTickets can be bought on arrival at Beaulieu or in advance online at the organiser website \nAdmission to the show includes access to all of the features of the Beaulieu attraction. \nSimply Classics and Sports car 2016 is just one of Beaulieu’s popular Simply Rallies\, which appeal to a wide range of car enthusiasts.  See our Events calendar for more information\n  \n
